Easter weekend here has been unbelievable. I wish that I could convey the experience but it's just completely indescribable. The two Vatican photos to the left are from Easter morning, right after listening to the Pope speak, while the bells were ringing. Friday we walked over to the colosseum at night, where the Pope went through the way of the cross. At both locations there were thousands and thousands of people. Tonight my group is having an Easter dinner at our apartment. Last night we made our own dinners after going to the supermarket, and I made pesto pasta with mushrooms and garlic. Che buono!
